Girl - Friend !?

This post is to just surprise myself, this is purely selfish. The person I selected wasn’t in my list even a min before. But I’m glad for being weird all of a sudden.

Before I actually speak about this person I want you to acknowledge the fact called “transition” that took place in me in last 4 years. I’m happy for this huge transition. Way back in my 1^st year I could not even dream about “me being able to write a blog” I was illiterate in many ways but was educated in some, among them “Learn to Learn” is my favorite educational policy.

So, I was ready to learn. But who is going to teach me? And here I present you the answer…! Undoubtedly she was the first one in my btech to teach me urban lifestyle about which I really had no clue.  Though the teaching was neither intentional nor planned, it was needed for me.  She even claimed she learned a lot from me. I would be happy if she really did, because that is something I could give in return for what she gave me.

So, in that fashion everything was happening quite fantastically between us, and no wonder we soon became friends by end of 2-1. This girl shares a lot with me and so do I. She has been part of my daily life, talking to her was always fun and informative, and moreover it was thrilling to have conversations with a girl, trust me I was thrilled. “Appearances’ deceive” she is one of the examples for that statement, looks like a nerd but has a lot of thought towards certain things at the same time has lack of emotional balance and ego.

Ohh yeah.! that will be only thing I hate in her, she is capable of conflicting from nowhere. But I was equally responsible for them, because I was not the same guy then, I used to feel shy and embarrassed to be with a girl in college, to be frank I was afraid, but she wasn’t, because, she was clear about her intentions but my attitude was like “What people might think”. Fuck man that sucks… doesn’t it.

 After surviving few routine conflicts she became very good friend of mine and I got better and matured when it comes to behaving with girls, further it didn’t take much time for me to say she is one of the best friends in my life. I mean it, No exaggeration, No women reservation.

Apparently we started spending lot of time together, roam around, etcetera…! And of course rumors started, so did misconception called Girl-Friend, I obviously don’t know when it started and by whom, But if some X guy was in my place with a girl, I would have started the same thing.  Just for the record I didn’t spare any ;). So, I’m not against those rumors as the name itself suggests “rumors”. But many took it for granted; surprisingly some went bit forward and asked questions like “Are you serious about her?” etc..! I was like “Damn man, I’m serious for your question”.

In course of learning many things I realized my idea of life is different from this routine love, marriage etc. which are not in my list anymore. I believe they just kill your individuality. So we both don’t have those intentions. I don’t know if this comes as shock to many of you, but definitely not to both of us..! What say girl..?!!

Totally she is one of the important persons in my life, without whom I could have been completely different person, but being happy for what I’m now, I thank her for what she has been to me…! You are a great support, good friend, humorous, entertaining and equally irritating.

I think this makes a good birthday gift..!! Doesn’t it? ;)

Happy birthday dear..! Still long way to go, lot more to learn…!
